Therapeutic Approaches

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - A short-term psychotherapy that helps clients identify and change maladaptive thought patterns to improve responses to difficult situations. It's effective for depression, anxiety, and many other mental health conditions.
  • Solution-Focused Therapy - A goal-oriented approach that focuses on finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. It helps clients identify their strengths and build on what's already working.
  • Expressive Arts Therapy - Uses creative processes like art, music, dance, and drama to help clients express emotions, process trauma, and develop self-awareness through non-verbal communication.
  • Play Therapy - Uses play as a natural medium for children to express their feelings, process experiences, and develop coping skills. It's particularly effective for children who may not have the verbal skills to express complex emotions.
  • Behavioral Therapy - Focuses on changing maladaptive behaviors through techniques like reinforcement, conditioning, and systematic desensitization. It's based on the principle that behaviors are learned and can be unlearned.
